Theory and Practice of Traditional Medicine in India (1) - A Case of Contact with Spider Venom -
AbstractWe present a case study of Āyurvedic medicine. The purpose of this study is not to show a rare clinical case or the effectiveness of any specific drug, but to investigate how the traditional theory of Āyurveda has been applied to a common case by a physician who mainly observes the traditional ways of Āyurvedic treatment. In this paper, we examine a case of contact with spider venom.
